candidates for our Personal Training Program, Absolutely Adolescents, or the Kick Start Classes at the Humane Society.

Perfect Partners in Training: Personal Training
Our staff of Certified Professional Dog Trainers will work with you on the behviors that you want to change. After an interview on the phone we can set up an appointment in your home or at one of our affiliate veterinarian's offices. The first
private lesson will consist of an assessment of your dogs behavior and what your
expectations for your dog are. We work from your prioritized list and show you
how to teach your dog. Your dog will not be completely trained in one session, but you will
have a training plan tailored to your needs. Many clients schedule a follow up
session in two weeks to advance the training plan and work on more behaviors. We see the best results with three personal training sessions scheduled over six weeks.
Commonly listed behaviors:
- Housetraining.
- Nipping on People.
- Politely Walking on Leash.
- Jumping Up on People.
- Toy or Food Guarding
- Destructiveness.
- Digging.
- Chewing on Inappropriate Objects.
- Appropriate Greeting of Guests.
- Extreme Aggression or Biting.
- Fighting Housemates.
We always deal with aggression in private lessons first. When we feel you and your dog are ready an appropriate class will be found to continue training.
Private lessons will:
- Offer flexibility.
- Deal with specific issues.
- Give you one on one attention.
- Be done at the location of your choice.
- Include children.

Perfect Partners in Training: Classes
Absolutely Adolescents! Is your older puppy still needing some polishing to become that Perfect Partner? The Absolutely Adolescents Class will continue the work we began in Positively Puppies and help you work towards a polite Side Kick. If you and your puppy missed the Positively Puppies Class you can still join us and we will get you caught up! This class is for puppies over 5 months up to a year. The next class in the progression will be the Kick Start Class.
Kick Start The Fun! A open enrollment class for dogs who are older than 6 months who need all the basics. We accept new students on a weekly basis. A perfect class for families who have just adopted an adult dog or who are getting a late start with manners. You can take this class as long as needed. When you are ready we bump you up to the Level Two Class.
Kick Start Level Two This is a fun challenging step up from Level One. We problem solve, play games, and get ready to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. We also prepare your pup to be a therapy dog, rally dog, or competition dog.
